Trash & Recovery
Recover accidentally deleted presentations from the trash.
How Trash Works
Section titled “How Trash Works”When you delete a presentation, it moves to trash instead of being permanently deleted. This gives you a safety net.
Moving to Trash
Section titled “Moving to Trash”- Open the presentation menu (three dots)
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion
- The presentation moves to trash
Viewing Trash
Section titled “Viewing Trash”
- Go to the presentation list
- Click Trash in the sidebar or filter
- See all trashed presentations
Restoring Presentations
Section titled “Restoring Presentations”From the trash view:
- Find the presentation to restore
- Click Restore
- The presentation returns to your main list
All content, slides, and settings are preserved.
Permanent Deletion
Section titled “Permanent Deletion”To permanently delete a presentation:
- Go to trash
- Click Delete Permanently on the presentation
- Confirm - this cannot be undone
Automatic Cleanup
Section titled “Automatic Cleanup”Trashed presentations may be automatically deleted after a retention period (configured by your admin).
- Use trash as a holding area for presentations you might need later
- Check trash before assuming content is lost
- For important presentations, consider duplicating before making major changes
