Activity & Notifications
Deckyard shows activity in the presentation library and notifications in the bell at the top of the editor.
Activity
Section titled “Activity”Open Activity in the library sidebar to see recent events on presentations you can access. The feed shows who acted, what happened, the presentation, and when. It includes presentation changes, collaborator access changes, comments, and slide additions. You can mark the feed as read and load more events. The home view also shows a preview of recent activity from others.
Activity is a workspace feed. For snapshots of a presentation, use Version History.
Notification bell
Section titled “Notification bell”The editor bell shows your unread count and recent notifications. Open it to see All, Mentions, Unread, or Archived. Select a notification to open its related presentation or comment. You can mark all as read, archive an individual notification, or archive all from the All view. Archiving also marks the notification as read.
Comment notifications cover mentions, replies, and other comments according to your subscription. Direct mentions still reach you when a deck is muted. The bell updates while the editor is open.
Choose comment notifications
Section titled “Choose comment notifications”In the editor’s More menu, open Deck notifications. Choose Your default, Watching (every comment), Participating (threads you write in, replies, and your own decks), Mentions only, or Mute. The choice controls comment alerts for that deck in the bell and by email; direct mentions still come through.
Your user settings contain the global default, an email switch, and email choices for new comments, replies, and mentions. There are no daily or weekly email digest choices or preferred delivery days.
