Notion

Connect Deckyard to Notion to import pages as presentations.

Setup

Create a Notion integration and set its token as NOTION_SECRET on the Deckyard server. Share each page you want to import with that integration. A page that has not been shared will not be available to Deckyard.

See Creating from Notion for the import flow. Deckyard fetches the page, converts its content into slides, and creates a presentation. The import uses an AI provider, so review the resulting slides before presenting.

Notion-hosted image URLs expire. During import, Deckyard copies images to ImageKit when ImageKit is configured. Otherwise it copies them into the configured media storage, local disk or S3. If an individual image cannot be copied, the import can still finish with its original URL; replace that image before the URL expires.

If Deckyard reports that Notion is not configured, check NOTION_SECRET. If it cannot find or access a page, share the page with the integration and try again.
